'94 Lightning Spring 2010 Championship Season

CKSC '94 Lightning posing after beating LFC Premier, 2-0 in State Cup final.
Lightning girls won Kick in the Bluegrass tournament.
They played in 3 college showcases. They went 3-0 in Raleigh, NC. 3-1 in Smyrna,TN losing in the semi-finals of a 20 team field. 3-0 in Carmel,IN.

| Furia Roja This group of young men from Woodford Co., KY play indoor soccer at Sportsplex Arena in Nicholasville, KY. I referee at this indoor arena on the weekends. On this night, the young man on the front row far right (Jose #10) led the way as Furia Roja beat their opponent from Richmond, KY.  Again from the Hispanic leagues. This team plays under the name Chelsea. In this picture they are wearing their Mexico away jerseys. This league is played at Champions indoor facility just north of Nicholasville. Jose from the first picture also plays for Chelsea. He is second from the left on the back row. I enjoy ref'n this team. They are skilled and play an attacking style of soccer. |
